Why hello there blogosphere!

Remember me? No? OK...nevermind...I shall continue never the less

I changed the name of my blog...again! 

What was once Grey Matter Excerpts changed to Life is Beau-tiful and now we've arrived at What you doing Katie? 

There are a few reasons for the change. 1) I had grown tired of the old layout and seeing as my last post on here was in October 2012, it defo needed some rejuvenation

2) Sometimes life just isn't that beautiful, even with my gorgeous Beau in tow

3) This blog is about what I'm doing, and my name is Katie, so the name kinda fits the purpose

4) "What you doing Katie?" is a question I get asked fifty billion times a day by my boy...so I may as well answer it

Since I last posted, life has carried on as it does, stuff has happened, nothing particularly life changing or interesting, some good, some bad.

In a brief summary, this year I... lost a load of weight, became a gym bunny (short lived, obviously), thought for a while that being skinny and fit was the be all and end all,

realised IT ISN'T,

broke up with my boo, got back together with my boo (thank the lord), got pregnant, had a missed miscarriage, got appendicitis a week before Christmas and spent 2 days in hospital, and I sit here on New Years Eve feeling happy and contented as I'm currently falling in love with James all over again, which is pretty cool. 

More about all that later, but for now, I wish you all a very
