Fill In The Blanks Friday...Saturday Edition :o)

Once again I'm a little late doing this, but it's better late than never...

1. If I didn't have to work anymore I would buy my round the world ticket I am saving for and go travelling for a year. Hopefully if I get my rear in gear this will be a reality sooner rather than later.







2. My favorite thing about a vacation is not having to think about boring everyday things or worry about anything. You can just chill out and forget about it all for a week or so




3. When packing for a trip I always, always over pack. I bring things I even forgot I owned, and then of course don't wear them. Back in the wardrobe for next year's holiday :o)




4. If I could go on a road trip with anyone (dead OR alive) I would choose my late Nan, Joan because she passed away when I was 14 and I miss her everyday. I never appreciated her enough in the last few years of her life and I wish so much that I could have had her for longer. And we would go to Yorkshire in the north of England, where she grew up during the war, so she could re-tell me all her stories I have forgotten




5. My top 3 absolute travel essentials are 1) My beloved camera, I ADORE taking photographs of new places , 2) A good book, but nothing too deep, 3) My iPhone, but for it's iPod capability, I need good music everywhere I go


6. Vacations are essential. This is big world we live in, I want to see as much of it as possible




7. On vacation you must always take lots (and lots and lots) of photographs. Then years down the line you can look at them again and bring the memories rushing back
